Role Description


The Sr. Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply planning implementation of GBSC Spirits, RTDs, raw materials and direct materials across all Vendors, Co-packers and the GBSC Distillery. In this role they will support and plan for all raw materials and finished goods inventory requirements, utilizing this information to assemble production plans that stay within pre-specified targets, while ensuring required components for manufacturing are met within budget. Systems implementation and oversight of GBSCs ERP tools along with data management are a major responsibility. The Sr. Supply Planning Analyst will oversee the implementation of ERP systems, forecasting tools, and external IT vendor relationship management to champion analytics across the organization. We are also seeking a dedicated Sr. Supply Planning Analyst to lead our efforts in achieving our sustainability goals and ensuring our company operates in an environmentally conscious and ethical manner.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:
 
Production Demand Forecasting and Planning
  • Analyze historical data, production/market trends, lead-times and customer demand patterns to develop accurate production demand forecasts for packaging and liquid material requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to create and maintain a comprehensive production demand plans across co-packers and the distillery
  • Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to optimize transportation and warehousing inventory demands, nationally and regionally
  • Responsible for analysis and optimization of storage requirements and pallet positions based on set and planned production schedules
  • Lead and participate in system upgrade and implementation projects, from initial planning, RFP, to execution and post-implementation evaluation, ensuring projects are within budget
  • Oversee, optimize and develop Material Resource Planning (MRP) and Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) utilizing SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Utilizing DRP, monitor monthly inventory reports by pallet to develop accurate storage forecasts and provide updates to our 3PL network, securing adequate storage at all times
  • Develop min max levels for all inventory ensuring optimal safety stocks of both finished goods and materials
  • Plan and coordinate with vendor, Operations Manager, and Distillery team for timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods to support production schedules
 
Process Improvement and Optimization
  • Identify opportunities to streamline Operations processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Implement systems, best practices, and tools to enhance operations visibility and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, select, and implement supply chain planning and enterprise resource planning tools, software, or technologies aimed at improving operational effectiveness.
  • Learn and document co-packer manufacturing capabilities and communicate changes/updates to internal stakeholders/cross-functional teams
  • Lead S&OP meetings in conjunction with the National Sales Intelligence Manager
  • Identify and act on improvement opportunities in day-to-day operations
 
Risk Management
  • Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to address disruptions.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and geopolitical factors that could impact the supply chain.
  • Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory keeping write-offs within budget.
  • Working cross-functionally, implement inventory control measures and strategies to improve inventory turns and reduce carrying costs.
  • Develop KPI dashboards and reports for senior management

Team Leadership
  • Develop and communicate clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics tailored to individual team members, aligning with departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions to assess progress against set KPIs, providing constructive feedback and support for continuous improvement.

What you need:
 
·      Advance Excel Skills are a must
·      Completed Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Supply Chain Management and Planning or Commerce
·      3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience in production & material planning in a multi-plant network or other relevant field
·      Prior CPG or Alcohol Beverage Industry experience preferred
·      Experience working with co-packers
·      Have a strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and forecasting (APICS subject areas)
·      Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, team building skills, influencing & negotiation skills to lead without direct influence
·      Strong computer skills, with supply chain planning tools such as APO-SAP (APO-SNP, APO-DP), Netsuite and Business Intelligence tools
·      Strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to analyze ambiguous data, determine key information elements, develop optimal plans, and recommend & execute action plans that weigh risks and benefits
·      Demonstrated ability to work across functions, business units and geographies – a strong background in a matrixed organization is beneficial
·      Be a problem solver, have a strong analytical sense and give attention to details are a must for this position
·      Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time

Compensation

$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
